Megan Dasbach is a business process consultant for the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services’ Organization and Strategic Development Section. She was raised in Cleveland, Ohio and attended Ohio University for her undergraduate degree in music therapy. In 2012, Megan moved to Florida to complete her music therapy field work at Florida State Hospital, where she worked on her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and provided music therapy and substance abuse treatment services to adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses. For the last three years, Megan worked as the music therapy supervisor and internship director at Florida State Hospital, and for the past year, as the mental health program analyst over all treatment services at FSH. She was the facility’s appointed trauma informed care trainer and change director for Recovery Oriented Systems of Care. Megan’s clinical specialties include trauma, anger management, and motivation strategies. Megan joined the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services in October of 2018, and is currently completing her Certified Public Manager certification and graduate-level teaching certification.
