A clinical nurse educator in critical care, Patrick Ryan practices at New York Presbyterian, Columbia, and is conducting research on effective therapeutic proning of the ARDS patient. Dedicated to critical care since 2000, Patrick holds BSN and MSN degrees from Hunter College, and has published on early mobilization of the ECMO patient, and developed quality improvement project posters on bundling of effective interventions for total joint arthroplasty and on the prophylaxis of PTSD in school-age children post 9-11.
