A Senior Project Manager at Dyno Consult and Manager of the Canadian Technical Services of Dyno Nobel from 1989 to 2012, Daniel graduated in Mining Engineering at Laval University in Quebec City in 1987. He started his career as a production engineer at the Lac Shortt Division of Falconbridge, from 1987 to 1989, where he also touched at various aspects of the underground mining engineering. Now working for BBA since 2013, Daniel is acting as their Principal advisor / expert in drill and blast applications and technologies. He worked on multiple blasting applications, in underground mines as well as open pit operations, numerous quarries and many plug blasts for hydro-electrical construction projects. Daniel has more than 29years of experience in the mining industry and has presented many technical papers in several conferences, both locally and internationally. His fields of expertise are: blast design and optimization, analyze and interpretation of vibration measures, explosives performance and quality control measurements, for packaged , bulk explosives and initiation systems of any kinds.
