David is responsible for technology innovation and strategic development across all of Synapse’s business segments. His role includes driving technology standards, R&D direction, and overarching vision with a focus on commercialization outcomes. With over 25 years of experience in the Telecom and Enterprise Networking industries, David has a proven track record of success as a visionary and innovator. His broad experience, spanning embedded electronics to cloud computing, provides keen insight for Synapse in the rapidly-evolving IoT space. David’s previous experience includes Engineering Management and Staff Architect roles at Nokia Broadband Systems, as well as key Engineering roles at ADTRAN, Inc. and Huntsville startups DiscoveryCom and Teracruz, Inc. David holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Auburn University.
