Reigh Walling is the principal of Walling Energy Systems Consulting, LLC, where he is engaged in a wide range of consulting activities in distribution, transmission, renewable generation, and distributed energy resources interconnection and integration. He is past-chair of the IEEE PES Distributed Generation Integration working group, and he is a facilitator in the ongoing rewrite of IEEE 1547. He is also leading effort to develop a new IEEE C62.92.6 guide for grounding for current-regulated generation sources (inverters). Mr. Walling is a Fellow of the IEEE and received the IEEE Excellence in Distribution Award in 2009. He has authored over 95 papers and has been awarded 19 US patents.
