Richard Capriola is a partner in the firm’s commercial litigation practice and has extensive experience litigating commercial, business, banking, franchise, fraud, regulatory compliance, and construction litigation claims. Rich has more than 20 years of litigation experience and regularly practices before state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels. His commercial practice includes contract disputes, fiduciary duty claims, shareholder disputes, financing and loan disputes, disputes regarding the development and sale of real and commercial property, the marketing, advertising, sale and telemarketing of products and services, defense of consumer protection claims and debt settlement claims, franchise disputes and the resolution of state and federal regulatory issues. His construction practice includes claims involving construction defect, professional negligence, contract disputes, property damage and lost revenue. Rich also has experience in handling personal injury matters and wrongful death cases.
