Leonard Wood is an Adjunct Instructor for the Certified Public Manager program, at the Florida State University’s Askew School of Public Administration and Policy. He currently works for the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services as a Lead Business Process Consultant, where he oversees planning and operations for the Division of Administration’s Organizational and Strategic Development Section.¬ During his career, Leonard has served as a Park Ranger, Wildland Firefighter, Disaster Recovery Team Lead, Investigator, Consumer Mediator, Quality Manager, and Training Consultant.¬ In 2015, Leonard was named Florida Sterling Council’s Rookie Examiner of the Year for his work on a Sterling review team.¬ When not serving the State of Florida, Leonard works as a private consultant and serves as a professional mentor to individuals in the Tallahassee area.
