Rick Joyce joined Schneider Electric (Telvent) in 2011 as Sr Director with the primary responsibilities of leading the Smart Grid IT – North America sales and business development team. The team’s main responsibility is Smart Grid Utility operations and Micro Grid in North America utilizing the Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS) control center applications; SCADA, DMS, OMS, EMS, and DRMS. Additionally, Rick remains involved in project strategy as an active Executive Sponsor with all customer steering committees. A 30 plus year veteran of the application of technologies, with 20 years in the utility market and 10 years in telecom, Rick experience includes software engineering, presales engineering, demand side and SCADA application development, product line management, and global sales & marketing. Rick graduated from Penn State in 1981 with a BS in Electrical Design Engineering Technology and resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
