Victor Tran is currently working in Southern California Edison (SCE) as Project Engineer and had managed the Line Sensor program from initial Request For Information to the completion of the Pilot. Victor has held eight different positions within SCE over the past 27 years spanning System Planning, Engineering, Reliability, and wireless communication. In past ten years Victor’s focus area has been Distribution Automation including distribution hardware equipment integration, RF communication integration, feeder automation planning and implementation, and system-wide deployment. Victor obtained BS Engineering degree with specialization in Power Engineering from California State University of Long Beach in 1991. Victor was born and raised in Vietnam at Saigon city.
