Robert Rickenbach is President and Chief Engineer of Micronor, Inc., a manufacturing company specializing in fiber optic kinetic sensors. These sensors are vital for use in motion control, automation and robotic applications. Rickenbach's successful fiber optic career spans more than 30 years including his current position as Founder and President of Micronor, Inc. He also founded Rifocs Corporation, a fiber optic test equipment company bought by Textron. Before that he was an Engineering Manager for Photodyne Inc., a fiber optic test equipment company sold to 3M. Rickenbach holds several unique patents including those covering fiber optic position sensors.
