Chief Christopher J. Naum, SFPE Chief of Training, the Command Institute Technical Advisor, NIOSH Firefighter LODD Program A 44-year fire service veteran and a highly regarded national & global instructor, author, lecturer and fire officer, he’s a distinguished authority on building construction & fireground operations and has traveled throughout the United States and globally delivering programs on building construction, command management & operational safety. A former Adjunct with the National Fire Academy, he is a past member of the Board of Directors, IAFC Safety, Health & Survival Section, past Vice-President of the ISFSI and has instructed at the IAFC’s International Fire Operations Symposium & is on the Faculty, IAFC Officer Development Program ODP-COLS. A former architect and fire protection engineer, he was the 1987 ISFSI George D. Post Fire Instructor of the Year. He is the Chief of Training for the Command Institute and a Consultant to NIOSH Firefighter LODD Program.
