Otmane started his career in 1996 at Alstom Gas Turbine in France as a Research and Development engineer. He was developing Combustion chemical models for emissions prediction on dry low NOx combustors. Following the acquisition by GE Power & Water of this business, he took different role in engineering such testing and application before moving to commercial operation as a technical leader. Since 2013, Otmane is based in Dubai and leads Customer Application Engineering Covering Middle East and Africa.
