Walt Bleser currently serves as the President of SENSR Monitoring Technologies, LLC. Previously he worked at GREX as the Director of Railway Asset Management, and HNTB Corporation as their Railway Technology Manager, after serving as a Movable Bridge Project Manager for HNTB. Mr. Bleser currently works with railroads, state DOTs and other structure owners across the world with structural monitoring needs. Mr. Bleser has been involved in a wide variety of fixed and movable bridge design projects as well as several inspection and rating projects for Class I, Commuter and Shortline Railroads. Mr. Bleser is an officer in AREMA as the incoming Chairman of Technical Committee 7 on Timber Design of Railroad Structures, as well as a member of AREMA Technical committee 10 on Structures, Maintenance & Construction where he serves as the co-subcommittee chairman for education, the subcommittee chairman for research, and an instructor for the AREMA bridge inspection seminar.
