Victor J Lopez Manager Rail Trains/Second Hand Rail Pickup at BNSF Railway, ATSF & BNSF Railway March 1979 to present. I started my career working with the ATSF Railway on March 1, 1979, where I worked as a trackman, and was promoted to truck driver and machine operator. On January 2, 1985, I was promoted to foreman where I worked on various construction, rail, tie and division track maintenance projects. In 1989, I was promoted to track supervisor where I worked inspecting mainline and yard tracks throughout various subdivisions. On Sept 16, 1994, I was promoted to Assistant Roadmaster where I worked supervising various division track maintenance projects including system rail relay gangs. On January 2, 1996, I was promoted to Roadmaster in Lubbock TX, where I was in charge of all track maintenance and new constructions work activities. On April 1, 2004, I was promoted to a developmental Roadmaster position in Clovis NM, where I was in charge of all track maintenance and new construction projects including Clovis Terminal. On October 2011, I was promoted to my current position as Manager of Rail Trains in charge of second hand rail pickup.
