Lisa Abbott is the Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Community Affairs for Lifespan Corporation, a comprehensive, integrated, academic health system affiliated with The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, and the state of Rhode Island’s largest employer. She is responsible for all facets of Human Capital Strategy and HR operations for health system. With her transformative leadership approach, she is creating synergy across the system by centralizing service delivery, focusing on superior customer service and keeping the patient at the center of the change agenda. She is also responsible for Lifespan’s Community Health Institute and Community Affairs divisions, driving Lifespan’s goals of corporate citizenship. Ms. Abbott holds an MBA from Binghamton University with a concentration in International Business and a BA in Biology from Cortland State University. She is SPHR credentialed and is a graduate of the Michigan Business School Executive Human Resources Program.
