Verruso is an energy industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience. Currently Mr. Verruso serves as General Manager of Advanced Fuel Solutions, Inc. Established in 1994, Advanced Fuel Solutions (AFS) is a marketing, consulting and petroleum chemical distribution organization. AFS serves the petroleum wholesale, fuel dealer, fleet, and renewable fuels marketplaces. Over the years, Mr. Verruso has held management positions at Townsend Energy, HOP Energy and Petro/Star Gas. In addition to his position at AFS, Leo is also the co-founder of Vets2Techs, a 501(c)(3) organization to help connect United States Military Veterans with the workforce development needs of the energy industry. Currently Mr. Verruso is an active Board Member of New England Fuel Institute and Massachusetts Energy Marketers Association, where he serves as Treasurer and on the Executive Committee.
