Kristen Thurman has over 19 years of clinical, management and sales experience in wound care across all care settings. During her clinical practice, she developed a multidisciplinary team approach to wound care and implemented numerous innovative technologies at Banner Health in Arizona. Kristen is actively involved in the American Physical Therapy Association, Section on Clinical Electrophysiology and Wound Management and is a Panel member of the National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel (NPUAP) and the Co-Chair of the Support Surface Standards Initiative Committee. Additionally, she is published on wound care and pressure ulcer prevention. She is a Certified Wound Specialist though the American Board of Wound Management and holds a Master in Physical Therapy from Hahnemann (Drexel) University.
