Ed is the principle at Burcher Consulting, focused on creating and delivering world-class food offerings, operational improvements and store makeovers. He has been in the c-store industry for over 38 years in both Operational and Marketing roles. These have included Chief Operating Officer at Coen Markets, VP of Foodservice at Friendship, championing the development and implementation of the Neighbours Store at Petro-Canada, as well as leading the foodservice components for their SuperStop convenience stores. Ed also spent 18 years at Wawa. Over the course of his 10 years in marketing at Wawa, his team was responsible for developing the fresh food and foodservice offers. Successes include the hot foods program, built-to-order Hoagies and the Sizzli Breakfast program.
