Phil is a long-time member of the independent grocery industry. He has 36 years' experience in retail grocery and spent 10 years with a wholesaler serving independent retailers. For the past 13 years, Phil has been the owner of four stores in Eastern Washington, serving different clientele and demographics. Several of our stores are in high Hispanic demographic areas, and all serve seasonal customers. Currently, he is the Chairman of the Washington Food Industry Association, a board member of Northwest Grocers ad/marketing group, and a member of the National Retail Advisory Board for IGA.
