Duane has over 25 years of experience in developing, operating and supporting complex technology solutions with emphasis on the Smart Grid market for the last 12 years. Duane has extensive experience in Strategic Planning, Market Assessment, Product Development and Customer Support. Previously Duane managed several communication business areas at Motorola served as the Director/GM of Motorola’s Utility Solutions Business. They developed one of the first residential smart meters and built a portfolio of a Pre-Pay Electricity System, Home Energy Management System including in-home devices, smart meters and application programs. His current role at SRP leverages these experiences to develop Residential Beyond-The-Meter strategies, evaluate technologies and identify end-to-end solutions to enable customers and SRP to better manage energy through "smart" in-home devices and systems. Duane holds both an MBA and Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
