Nicolas Bossé is Vice President, Regulatory Affairs for Brookfield Renewable Energy Group’s North American platform. Nicolas oversees regulatory and policy matters related to the company’s trading and marketing portfolios. Nicolas joined Brookfield Renewable in 2008, bringing more than 10 years of experience in high-tech products licensing and international mergers and acquisitions. In addition to his vast knowledge in transmission and merchant renewable generation, and regulatory coverage for the majority of the North American organized wholesale energy markets. Nicolas has completed his undergraduate and his graduate studies in Economics respectively at the Université Laval (Québec, Canada) and at the Université du Québec à Montréal (Québec, Canada). Nicolas currently serves on the Board of the Renewable Energy Producers Association of Québec, as well as the Association of Power Producers of Ontario, the Independent Power Producers of New York and the New England Power Generators Association. He is also is a member of the Power Marketing Counsel of the Canadian Electricity Association.
