Bob Cone is a Vice President of HDR Engineering registered in ten states with rail experience since working for Southern Railway during college. Since then, he has been involved in the planning, design and construction of rail and transit, airports, ports, intermodal centers, land development, and industrial projects. He is currently managing the development of alternatives to be taken into the Environmental Impact Statement for the DC2RVA project. His experience includes the North Corridor LRT in Houston, the Green Line in Boston, the Wave Streetcar and the Miami Airport Station for the South Florida Transportation Authority, program management for the Port of Long Beach and the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport.
