Chris Collins, Exelon Project Manager, responsible for engineering and deployment ComEd’s wireless smart grid network infrastructures for Distribution Automation (DA) and Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) as well as BG&E’s DA wireless smart grid network infrastructure. 31 years with ComEd/Exelon, Chris has been a project manager, managing numerous telecomm platform deployment projects across ComEd, PECo and BGE. Chris also worked as Exelon’s Network Operations Manager, responsible for the operations of Exelon’s corporate data, firewall, fiber, SONET and voice networks. Chris started as an electrical engineer working in the Corporate Nuclear Engineering Office as well as Dresden Nuclear Station in Illinois. Chris has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, a master’s degree in telecommunications and is PMP Certified.
