Kari McCormick, Vice President of Client Relations for Arrowhead Builders, is responsible for client development, maintaining client satisfaction throughout the life of a project, while assuring Cultural competencies and compliance with our Native American clients. Ms. McCormick has been working in Indian Country for over fifteen years in the A/E/C industry and is driven by her commitment to advancing the lives of Native peoples through economic and community development. She has respect for learning about each unique Tribal culture, honoring the traditions and history of Indigenous Nations and helping the construction and design industry find a common language to bring progressive and meaningful development to Indian Country. Part of her work has been to organize and facilitate various community outreach and consensus building forums on Tribal projects, leading charrettes and community outreach programs and developing mentor-protégé programs. Her unique background in ministry and counseling has given her a unique skillset working closely with various stakeholders and interest groups to build healthy communication processes and creating collaborative environments to find common goals for successful outcomes. She is the past recipient of the NIGA Community Impacts Award, the Global Gaming Women Rising Star and AAED Tribal Practitioner of the Year. Currently Ms. McCormick is serving on the Executive Board of the California Nations Indian Gaming Association.
