Ted Manning is the CEO at Ibex Outdoor Clothing, and has been lucky to call the outdoor industry home for over 20 years. He started his career at Eastern Mountain Sports, starting on the retail floor as a high school kid and ending up as the Executive Vice President. After a little time off, he found his way to Ibex. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Conservation Alliance and the Trust For Public Land (VT). Ted loves what he does; working with great people to make clothing he is proud to sell. He loves that this industry’s values so closely mirror he own; being active outside, preserving our wild places and never taking any of it too seriously. He believes that leadership is the antidote to bureaucracy, partnership is the key to success, determination defeats despair and some ideas, in the hands of those who care, can and will change the world.
