Malcom Pious is an independent ecosystem consultant, with a focus on forest and river ecosystems. Professionally, Malcom operates at the intersection of science, policy, and business by integrating ecological, social, and economic objectives in natural resources planning and adaptive ecosystem management. Malcom’s professional goal is to support the design and implementation of best or smart practices through an integrated framework for strategic planning in sustainable development, by mainstreaming an ecosystem-based approach in land and water resources management for the power, water, and forest industries. Malcom started his professional career in forestry and natural resources management in Borneo.
