Jim LeBlanc is the owner of Contingency Planning Consultants, LLC, based in Abita Springs, Louisiana. He is Vice-President of the New Orleans InfraGard Chapter, a non-profit organization serving as a public-private partnership between U.S. businesses and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and a member of the InfraGard National EMP Special Interest Group. He is also the Chair of the Louisiana Grid Coalition. He has published one book, Real Risk Management for the Electrical Grid, has a second one in draft form and writes for a tactical publication, Tactics and Preparedness. In 2011, he retired as CFO of Gaylord Chemical Company. He also worked as a Reserve Deputy for the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office for eight years, during which time he worked the road and served as an armorer. He earned his BS degree in Geology in 1972 from the University of New Orleans and an MBA from Pepperdine University in 1978.
