Patrick Clerens studied law at the University of Saarbrücken and the University of Mainz. Since 1991, he has worked as a consultant for a private company specialising in European Affairs in Brussels. He manages the EPPSA office in Brussels as Secretary General since January 2005, building upon his prior experience as EPPSA’s Brussels Representative since 2003. In this function he liaises between member companies and the EU institutions on issues related to energy and clean fuel technology.
