Warren Whitley worked for the Prince William County Department of Fire & Rescue for 32 years, retiring as an Assistant Chief. He has been involved in the Kill the Flashover Project since 2011, helping to gather data on fire behavior, the use of thermal imaging cameras and enhanced water streams. He has also been to Sweden and the UK several times since 2000, learning about fire behavior and tactics
