Tiffanye S. Wesley is currently the Special Operations and Health and Safety Battalion Chief with the Arlington County Fire Department, Arlington, VA. She is the first African American woman to be promoted in the department’s 78-year history. In her 26 years of service, she has served in numerous positions within the department. The two most notably positions were becoming a Nationally Certified Bomb Technician and Bomb Commander and becoming the Station Commander for the largest and busiest firehouse in Arlington.  Tiffanye is an Inspirational Speaker, Author and Trainer.  She has also added coaching to her resume as she was certified through the John Maxwell International Certification program in 2018.  Tiffanye is married to her best friend Eric Wesley, who is also a Fire/EMS Lieutenant in Arlington County. They have four beautiful children, two of which also work in Public Safety and two beautiful grandchildren.
