Chris is a 28 year veteran of the Fairfax County (VA) Fire and Rescue Department. After serving 18 years in the field as a firefighter/paramedic, he was promoted to battalion chief where he served in many staff positions including uniform aide to the assistant chief of administration, uniform aide to the assistant chief of operations, and uniform aide to the fire chief. Chris has been a member of Virginia Task Force One since 2008 and was assigned as the urban search and rescue program manager in 2011.
