Chairman of the International Spa Association, Michael G Tompkins has led prominent spa brands for more than two decades including Miraval and Canyon Ranch. Over the last couple of years, Tompkins has transitioned back to his roots of healthcare repositioning the Hilton Head Health weight loss center and building its 2015 Best New US Spa, Indigo Spa, before creating a new model of concierge medicine and spa with PALM Health in St Louis. His entrepreneurial ideas are satisfied through work with his consultancy projects at Huffman Hospitality Consulting and his full time work as an executive recruiter at Hutchinson Consulting. He is the author of one novel and a contributing author of 4 books on lifestyle wellness.
