Helen is Operations Manager for BBE Hydro Constructors on the Keeyask Generating Station General Civil Works, seconded into the organisation from Bechtel. Helen joined Bechtel in 1993, working in project controls on the CTRL proposal and the Dubai International Airport expansion, before moving into a contracts role on OG&C’s OGDII project. Subsequent assignments included contract administration for the Sequoyah Unit 1 SGR, the Iraq Infrastructure Reconstruction project, the Chernobyl Shelter Implementation project, the PIC Aromatics project in Kuwait, and the Angola LNG Project. Before moving to her current role, Helen served as manager of Bechtel’s Civil Business Unit Contracts and Procurement Team. Helen holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering with management from Durham University and a master’s degree in construction law and arbitration from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. She holds the Project Management Professional qualification from the Project Management Institute and is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
