Alex is a Mechanical Engineer in the Hydropower and Hydraulic Structures Group within Black & Veatch Water, currently leading an asset management program at a large hydroelectric utility. Alex is particularly focused on the design and assessment of large valves and control equipment for the hydropower industry which is complimented by his background in systems integration. Alex earned a Master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas and a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Notre Dame. He is a licensed professional engineer in California and is currently located in Sacramento.
