Bob Bellis started his GE career in 1999, serving in various engineering roles that focused on the development and implementation of gas turbine power plant upgrades. Over the last 8 years, in his position as OpFlex Product Manager, Bob has focused on the development of control software products, leveraging advanced controls technology from GE’s aviation business to improve gas turbine and combined cycle power plant operational flexibility. Prior to joining GE, Bob served in the US Navy for 6 years, on the headquarters staff of the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program in Washington, DC, focusing on primary plant components for nuclear powered submarines and aircraft carriers. Bob holds BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and an M. Eng. Admin from Virginia Tech.
