Derrick Walker has been with Optum360 since 2014. In his current role as an Senior Director, Derrick maintains close relationships with end-user clients across the country, as well as Optum product management and development teams to assist with the guidance of enhancements to individual modules and applications related to revenue cycle management. He also functions as a subject matter expert for the Provider Consulting Practice. Prior to joining Optum360, Derrick spent the last 10 years working for Deloitte Consulting, Accretive Health, and Stockamp & Associates implementing end-to-end transformations and large scale managed service engagements. He assisted hospitals, large integrated delivery networks and physician practices with revenue cycle improvement initiatives conducting end-to-end transformational changes. Additionally, he is an active member of the National Association of Health Services Executives (NAHSE) promoting the advancement and development of minority health care leaders, and elevating the quality of health care services rendered to minority and underserved communities.
