With past employment in entertainment, corporate, and small business, Sharon Goldblatt proudly describes herself as a professional volunteer. She has more than 25 years of experience at the local, council, district and national levels of PTA, where she served as Texas PTA President and was a member of the National PTA Board of Directors. Sharon currently chairs the National PTA Field Service Committee, serves on the board of Texans Standing Tall, chairs the Plano ISD Key Communicators, and is an active volunteer for such groups as the Alliance on Underage Drinking, the Dallas Area Drug Prevention Partnership, and Texans for Education, Health and Safety. She has received numerous awards, including the National PTA President's Distinguished Service Award, the Plano ISD Education Foundation Board of Honor, and the Individual in Education Volunteer of the Year Award (Collin County). Sharon’s vision is that everything matters, and every individual has a responsibility to give back to the community in whatever way, large or small, that they can.
