Bibhu Mohanty




Dr. Bibhu Mohanty is a Professor Emeritus at the University of Toronto, and leads the group working on blasting research. His research, spanning over 40 years, encompasses all areas of blasting, dynamic fracture and fragmentation of rock, and explosion hazards. Prior to his current position, he was the NSERC Chair Professor at the University of Toronto. He is a regular contributor to the ISEE Conferences, and is a Member Emeritus of ISEE. He received his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Toronto, Canada.
