Brad Kerchof is Director Research and Tests for Norfolk Southern Railway in Roanoke, VA. NS’s R&T Department. Brad spent his first 31 years in maintenance-of-way, working as division engineer in Birmingham, AL for NS and in Pittsburgh and Indianapolis for Conrail. Brad started as an engineering management trainee with Conrail, and one of his early career assignments was an eighteen-month tour at TTC. Brad has a BSCE from the University of Virginia and is a registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania.
