Andrea is an entrepreneurial marketing professional with expertise in both global and US brand development across skincare and cosmetics in the prestige, medical, and professional channels. Andrea is currently the Global Marketing Manager for SkinCeuticals, where she is responsible for global strategy, new product innovation, and portfolio profitability across the brand’s anti-aging and corrective treatment categories. Prior to SkinCeuticals, Andrea managed brand strategy and new product development for Dermablend Professional’s coverage cosmetics. In this role, she piloted a complete brand re-launch to define a new strategic brand positioning that ultimately landed the brand in Sephora and Nordstrom. As part of these efforts, Andrea pioneered Dermablend’s YouTube Camo Confessions campaign which received a Clio award and was a viral success with over 12M views. Andrea began her career at L’Oréal USA in the Management Development Program where she rotated in sales/business development and operational marketing roles. Andrea graduated, magna cum laude, from Babson College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a concentration in Marketing. During her time at Babson, she taught entrepreneurship to high school students and local businesses in Ghana as part of Babson’s off-shore program. She will receive her Master’s from the Fashion Institute of Technology’s Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing and Management program in June 2016. Raised in Venezuela and the US, Andrea is fluent in Spanish and English.
