As Vice President of Marketing for Black Opal® Cosmetics and Skincare, Ms. Brown leads the global marketing strategy, brand positioning, new product development, advertising, digital marketing, social media, and customer insights to drive long-term growth. Ms. Brown’s entrepreneurial vision and proven turnaround tactics have been instrumental in innovating and revitalizing the Black Opal brand since 2011. Her ideas are calculated yet also creative. WWD Beauty, Inc. recognized her as one of “The 50 Most Influential People in the Multicultural Beauty Market.” She’s also known as a born leader and as a cross-functional, collaborative leader who skyrockets revenue and provides value-added contributions to her employers.Prior to Black Opal, Ms. Brown held marketing director positions at the Warner Music Group and L’Oréal USA. She’s achieved a Bachelor of Science in accounting from North Carolina A&T State University and a Masters of Business Administration from Clark Atlanta University. She serves on the board of directors for Urban Intimates, LLC and holds active memberships in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and Beta Gamma Sigma Business Fraternity.
