Amit Garg is an independent advisor and technology leader with over 17 years of broad information security and privacy consulting, sales, business development, and entrepreneurship experience with a focus on delivering high value to his clients. His clients have included large federal civilian agencies, military organizations, government contractors, and Fortune 500 companies in the banking, insurance, and financial services, healthcare, life sciences, consumer products, construction, and retail verticals. Amit has extensive experience working in complex, and highly visible projects in the areas of enterprise security program management, privacy, enterprise governance, risk and compliance (eGRC), data protection, business resiliency, and cyber-security due diligence for M&A transactions. Amit is affiliated with the Berkeley Research Group, and has worked for leading companies such as BearingPoint, Deloitte & Touché, and RSA Security. He holds an MS in information security management from the George Washington University, School of Engineering & Applied Science, a BA in Economics from Emory University, and is also certified by the ISC2 (CISSP), the PMI (PMP), and the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI).
