Chip has been in-house counsel with Siemens since 2001 providing guidance in the areas of contract negotiation, project implementation, compliance, litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution. Presently, Chip is the Head of Legal in the United States for the Power & Gas Division. Chip also manages the legal team for the gas fired power generation business of Siemens in the Americas which includes all of North America and Latin America. The business focuses on turnkey construction of gas fired power plants and the manufacture and supply of power equipment. Before joining Siemens in 2001 Chip was in private practice for 10 years with the law firm of Akerman, Senterfitt & Edison, P.A. and was a litigation partner there from 1997 until 2001. Chip's practice at Akerman, Senterfitt & Eidson, P.A. focused on commercial litigation and arbitration, with a concentration on construction disputes.
