Peter Pham, M.D., is a board-certified eye surgeon, researcher and innovator with a degree in chemistry and with expertise that spans from IT to molecular biology. He co-founded and deployed Peristat, one of the most advanced online platform for glaucoma detection at the dawn of the internet age. As an undergraduate student, he developed the most advanced and efficient method for the insertion of very large molecular compounds into living amoeba cells. And after decades of frustration with the available treatment options for his own dry eyes and that of his patients, Dr. Pham developed a novel okra-based platform to address the underlying inflammatory cascade involved in not only dry eyes but a variety of other conditions such as acne, rosacea, psoriasis and wrinkles.
