Brandee Lepak is the Founder and Executive Director of Trips for Kids Phoenix. Her chapter takes over 1000 kids mountain biking every year; kids who would otherwise not have the chance to be outdoors and riding a bike. Her team works with underserved children from Phoenix Children’s Hospital, the Phoenix Police department’s gang resistance program, the Gila River Indian Reservation, and others who have been surrendered to the state and live in group homes and special education programs through local public schools. Brandee believes that every kid should have the chance to experience nature, otherwise they will never fight to protect it, and mountain biking is the best way to experience that. She is also the owner of Global Bikes bike shops in Phoenix since 2001, through which she’s been providing city residents with a wide range of bicycles, parts and accessories, and excellent repair service to keep them riding safely on the local roads and trails.
