Matthew has worked in the hospitality industry for 23 years. He currently leads the consultancy practice as Gateway Ticketing Systems, Inc. focused on destination parks. Prior to that he worked at Universal Orlando Resort most recently on a large guest and employee experience transformation project for over 2 years as the subject matter expert on the ticketing system. In this role he applied his in-depth knowledge of the ticketing eco-system working closely with Information Technology development teams, consultants and vendors to enable mobile app integration and a streamlined access control experience for the opening of Universal’s Volcano Bay, Universal’s newest theme park. Prior to that Matthew managed the Pricing & Analytics at Universal Orlando for theme park admission focusing on annual, promotional and event pricing for admission tickets and annual passes. Additionally Matthew has worked as the chief of staff to the head of sales coordinating the activities of the various field sales teams to achieve the collective business objective and managed Universal Orlando’s total compensation program focusing on salary administration plan design, incentive program development/administration and annual merit increases.
