Jill Berger-Fiffy is a long time member of both the National and the MA/RI MGMA State Chapter. Since 1993, Jill has served in various state leadership positions including Past President, President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and Program Chairperson. Jill met the certification requirements in 1997 and achieved her fellowship from the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE/MGMA) in 2014. Jill is currently a Senior Consultant for Culbert Healthcare Solutions. As a member of the Management Consulting team, she works with integrated delivery networks, academic medical centers, private and hospital-owned medical practices. She has experience in all areas of practice management including patient access, clinical and revenue cycle operations, strategic planning, project management and business development. As a Director of Primary Care Operations for a hospital-based network, she worked collaboratively with four C-suite chiefs and developed and managed a 15-site network, each with a balanced scorecard utilizing LEAN process improvement tools. During a transition to value-based payments, the practice met the goal of reducing Total Medical Expense, achieved network target to meet 13/15 quality-based goals, developed an NP as PCP program to grow the primary care network, integrated behavioral health services, enhanced productivity, and redesigned urgent care workflows. Additionally, Jill worked collaboratively with C-suite to reduce outside leakage, launched a new opioid workflow, developed a preceptor program for APC’s and spread Point of Care testing to all locations.
