Andrea Dennis is Director, System Operations at OGE Energy Corp. I oversee, lead, and direct the transmission and distribution control center operations and the supervisory control and data acquisition system. I am responsible for the enhancement and deployment of technological advancement relating to the transmission and distribution grid, and for analysis of service outages and coordination of crews, customers, contractors, and other company personnel during company-wide outages. I also facilitate the implementation of new emerging technologies that are strategically connected to the various activities related to the modernization of the power delivery infrastructure, regulatory, and compliance strategies, and new opportunities for the corporation. I have held this position for three years and have worked in the utility industry for nine years. I have a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Missouri-Rolla and a Master’s Degree from Clarkson University.
