currently serves as for the City of Chesapeake Office of Emergency Management. For the last nine years he has participated in the coordination and implementation of emergency services, plans and programs for the City of Chesapeake. He currently serves on several regional, State and Federal emergency management committees. Prior to coming home to Tidewater, he worked for the City of Alexandria Fire Department for four years. He received his B.A. from Mary Washington College, Fredericksburg, VA and his M.P.A. from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK.
