Joanne is a SSA career employee holding positions of increasing responsibility in financial management, program policy, and operations. Joanne graduated from the Senior Executive Service (SES) Candidate Program in 2008, and was named the Deputy Associate Commissioner for OFPO in September 2009. In July 2011, she transferred to the Office of Quality Performance and in June 2013, she returned to OFPO as the Deputy Associate Commissioner. Joanne holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Towson University. She is a Certified Government Financial Manager and Certified Public Accountant with the State of Maryland. Joanne is an Association of Government Accountants, Baltimore Chapter past President. Joanne is married and lives in Monkton, Maryland with her husband John and twin son and daughter.
